PODCAST IS UP: Krishnaiyer, Piscatella and Hines on FDP Chair race

screen-shot-2016-10-24-at-4-52-32-pmMario Piscatella, Kartik Krishnaiyer and myself recorded this Thursday night, after letting the results of Tuesday’s Miami-Dade State Committeeman election settle-in. The discussion covers what it was like on the ground voting in Miami; where we go from here to elect the next Chair of the party; and our wishlist for a new Chair of the party.

We also touched on how the candidates might fare in the vote ahead on January 14. Alan Clendenin may have trouble with some on the state committee; Steve Bittel might see resistance from small counties, and how come the media is paying no attention to the other candidates in the race. We also did our best to explain how the weighted vote works (not an easy task).

Toward the end of the pod as we contrast Democratic vs Republican party infrastructure investments.

You can also hear this on Progressive News Network, Sunday at 7pm.

Just wanted to let you know i listened and appreciate your efforts to educate. I hope we can put together a think tank that is inclusive of all factions of the party and the FDP uses social media to disseminate information.
