This week, Elon Musk tweeted his support for Governor Ron DeSantis, who would be, per his own admission the first GOPer he supports for President.

It’s quite interesting to see Musk and other billionaires like Ken Griffin so openly embrace Florida’s Governor who likes to play working-class populist – DeSantis policies aren’t conservative, but we’re seeing an increasing conflict between his populist streak and his transactionalism.

Musk joins a growing list of at least 42 other billionaires including Griffin in DeSantis’s corner.

So much for being an anti-corporate, working class warrior.
