I am curious to gauge our readers opinions on the Syria intervention. We will do the same thing post-Presidential speech tomorrow. We’ll close this poll at 6pm EDT tomorrow (Tuesday), and open a new one after President Obama’s address to the nation. Leave your comments below and please be civil. We know this is a passionate issue for all Americans and everyone across the globe who values freedom and human dignity.

Obama is awful and so are the Democrats that stand by their man. Iran is watching so while those that are supporting him…maybe they should tell him to implement real sanctions instead of doing everything half ass.

Obama himself seems to be backing down now. No chance of a strike I think and thank god for that!

I agree with this, “Indeed, it would be disastrous if President Bashar al-Assad’s regime were to emerge victorious after fully suppressing the rebellion and restoring its control over the entire country. Iranian money, weapons and operatives and Hezbollah troops have become key factors in the fighting, and Mr. Assad’s triumph would dramatically affirm the power and prestige of Shiite Iran and Hezbollah, its Lebanon-based proxy — posing a direct threat both to the Sunni Arab states and to Israel.” http://www.nytimes.com/2013/08/25/opinion/sunday/in-syria-america-loses-if-either-side-wins.html?_r=0

It is the obligation of every democrat to support our president. Those who do not support this are Hurting the party helping the Republicans and what not to call themselves Democrats. Liberals are so stupid. This is a humanitarian effort this is about stopping a brutal dictator. This is about enabling democracy. If you people cannot see this you deserve to be Republicans. You you will destroy the Obama presidency.
Kartik is killing our party with his rhetoric and his allies rhetoric. Rhetoric you are making the party on electable and helping the Republicans with this website. You are also making it impossible for Israel to survive if you don’t take Assad out. Those opposing the war are anti-Semitic and supporters of Iran, Russia and the possibility of another Holcoust.
