With Helene barreling toward impacting much of the state, this will be our focus on TFS the next several days.

We’ve had rare model convergence on a storm path for the last few days with this system, partly due to other atmospheric conditions- a dip in the Jet Stream and High Pressure sitting on the Atlantic coast.

As a result there’s really only one area. This storm can go and that’s between those two elements which will take it unfortunately right into what we historically called about what is now known as the big and eastern panhandle.

However this storm on Twitter for several days is likely to be asymmetrical with most of its bad weather the storms of the Florida Peninsula on its way north.
