Florida, not Louisiana

In 1803 the United States wanted to purchase New Orleans. The rest of French Louisiana came as a result, and while American History book mythologize this purchase, American officials at the time were disappointed – it was Florida they wanted more than the rest of Louisiana (minus New Orleans).
