What is a “Never Trump, Never Trump Republican”?

A “Never Trump, Never Trump”Republican, is someone who doesn’t want to defend Donald Trump policies, behavior or comments, but chooses instead to attack Trump’s critics, particularly the actual “Never Trump,” Republicans.

What we’re seeing now in Florida is an emerging similar development regarding Governor DeSantis.

As Governor DeSantis commentary, policy preferences and general drift becomes more indefensible, national critics have taken to attacking those who attack DeSantis – the media, activists, Democrats, etc. Yet very often, these critics don’t actually defend DeSantis, because they know in some many arena’s his views are indefensible.

I wish I had logged examples of this, but sadly have not. However, from here on out, I will be logging specific examples of this phenomena and look forward to making some specific critiques in the future.
