Minoricans in Florida and settlement in British East Florida

Florida’s oldest community of uninterrupted European lineage is the Minorican Community that came to the British Colony of East Florida in the 1760’s.

On this week’s Florida History Podcast, we discuss that community, it’s initial settlement in New Smyrna and its relocation to St Augustine.
