Carlos Beruff echoing Marco Rubio’s rhetoric in race to succeed him

Desperate Floridians who run for office often resort to demagogic claims when things aren’t going their way. The nation has been aghast at his comments from yesterday even earning some condemnation from Republicans in Florida.

“Unfortunately, for seven and a half years this animal we call president, because he’s an animal, okay—seven and a half years, has surgically and with thought and very smart, intelligent manner, destroyed this country and dismantled the military under not one, not two, but three secretary of defenses. And they’ve all written books about it.”

This is of course incendiary language but the very same type of rhetoric that has carried Donald Trump, like Beruff a wealthy businessman to great success. Beruff, of course is simply echoing the sentiments of the sitting Senator in the same seat Marco Rubio who earlier this year made these statements while running for President:

“(Obama) has deliberately weakened America.”

“He has made an intentional effort to humble us back to size as if to say ‘We no longer need to be so powerful because our power has done more harm than good,’

“America is in far greater danger today than it was eight years ago.”

“While some claim they would destroy ISIS, that they would make the sands of the Middle East ‘glow in the dark,’ my question is, with what? Because they certainly can’t do it with the oldest and smallest Air Force in the history of this country, or with the smallest Army we’ve had since World War II, or with the smallest and oldest Navy we’ve had since 1915.”

While many in Florida for political reasons see Beruff’s rhetoric as an extension of Trump’s, in reality all he is doing is channeling his inner Marco Rubio. As I have stated time and again Rubio’s rhetoric toward the President and views about the military were far more dangerous for American security than Trump’s or that of Ted Cruz.

So, Rubio bides his time appearing to look like an elevated elder GOP statesman while the biggest demagogues in the state take up his mantle of dangerous incendiary Obama-bashing. It makes you wonder if Rubio has a hand in Beruff’s campaign, doesn’t it?

It is NOT CONSERVATIVE or SOUTHERN or frankly DECENT to refer to a gentleman let alone a college graduate or a lawyer or a law professor or State Senator or US Senator or President of the United States by the gutter language of this so-called conservative Republican.
The man is clearly UN-HINGED judging by his language.

“. . . This animal we call President. . .” That’s not Rubio’s rhetoric. That’s purest Herr Drumpf. We do live in interesting times.

Beruff’s language is no different from Rep. Yoho’s, Rep. Rich Nugent’s, Rep. Gus Bilirakis or many other rightwing Republican congressmen who routinely trash and slander our President! They are a disgrace to Floridians, and Democrats need to work hard to purge our Congress of these Teacrazies. The people of Florida do NOT want these haters representing us!
