My grandfather, V.R. Krishna Iyer who is a former Indian Supreme Court Justice among other things has been honored on a postage stamp issued by India Post (the Indian postal service). He is currently 98 years-old and has had a long life in public service beginning in the early 1950s. It’s a great honor for my family to have him honored this way.

That is really cool! I always wondering who was on all those posters in your parents’ house, now I know! My grandfather, on the other hand, was a numbers runner for the Chicago Irish mafia and had one of those “jobs” with the Chicago Park District. We balance each other.
