The Democrats are dead nationally

The Democrats today resemble the GOP of the 1930s. Completely incoherent in their messaging and losing serious ground not just electorally, but in terms of voter registration even in the bluest of areas nationally.

The ineptitude with which the Republicans faced the New Deal era Democrats is repeating itself today with the Dem Party’s failings in fighting the MAGA movement.

I hope I am wrong but the 1930s GOP where there was no cohesion or collective effort to form an ideology to oppose the ruling Democrats seems to be the path we are on. It’s been more than three months since the election and the Democrats seem to be more complicit than actual opposition. At this point.
Politics turns on a dime but looking at the historical trajectory of things I can’t help but think of the 1930s and 1940s Republicans as to where the Democrats are headed – this is merely about winning presidential elections but it’s about everything down ballot party identification party registration et cetera et cetera. The Dems are at their low point since the 1920s at this moment.

Don’t count your chickens before they hatch. History is a long haul story. Better yet, how about having more than the two party system that strangles any real structural change, as in 3rd or 4th parties are never viable because the Dems/Reps and mainstream media just do not want to hear outside voices.
