For those of you who missed Sunday’s bombshell story in The Washington Post, it nakedly laid out what I have long made my biggest bone of contention against Governor DeSantis. My view is while many on the left complain about DeSantis authoritarianism and regressive social agenda ( all true) my biggest issue is he is the most transactional politician I have ever seen outside of small local yokel city officials. EVERYTHING he does relates to money and campaign cash. Every policy decision, every public statement.

This article is a must read for anyone in Florida and reinforces my view that DeSantis extreme cultural war agenda, including an obsession with LGBTQ+ issues, race and Covid are all a form of projection so his dirty laundry isn’t aired in public and he can claim victimized status when it is.
