Delta will resume Amsterdam-Orlando service in winter, a seasonal route that will operate through March 2023. The route is targeted toward European visitors to Central Florida, particularly British visitors who can conveniently avoid London’s messy Heathrow by jumping on a KLM flight from a secondary UK point and then transferring to Delta’s service. KLM and Delta have a joint venture across the Atlantic.

Alaska is dropping service from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles until December. That route is a congested one with five different carriers flying it and increasingly bad yields for each of the five.

JetBlue will suspend the following routes this summer:

Fort Lauderdale-Aguadilla/Atlanta/Austin/Buffalo/Philadelphia

Orlando-Syracuse

Copa Airlines won’t fly Panama City (PAN)-Fort Lauderdale between Labor Day and late October.

Delta is suspending service in the fall between Detroit and West Palm Beach. The flight resumes in late October.
