I am proud to be rejoining the Fort Lauderdale Strikers organization in a consulting role for the 2016 season. My hometown club, the club that made me love this sport 35 years ago is still near and dear to my heart and I am so pleased to be working with the team again. Therefore, we are suspending our coverage of NASL via Prost Amerika except for a few stories here and there that won’t conflict with my Strikers work. 

The coverage that I have been providing about Orlando City SC, the Orlando Pride and Orlando City B over at Peter Schorsch’s Orlando Rising site will continue uninterrupted as none of those clubs play in the same league as the Strikers or Strikers U-23 and I have been cleared of all potential conflicts in covering them.

My forthcoming book SoccerWarz which details the struggle between pro leagues in the country will still be released this week, but was written well in advance of my Strikers appointment.
