I wanna gripe about the total mishandling of the ugly Christmas Sweater trend. People on both sides of the aisle are getting this all wrong.
I’m seeing a lot of homemade sweaters with bows and tinsle stuck to them. I’ve even seen some ridiculous sweaters with Christmas ornaments hung from them and lights festooned across their chests and shoulders. This is incorrect.
A proper ugly Christmas sweater is one that was designed and produced by someone who seriously expected the sweater to be worn and enjoyed by another human being.
Taking an old Champion sweater from your father’s closet and attaching a Charlie Brown Tree simply will not do.
