Zest of the Day: 5 reasons Democrats struggle to win Florida elections

Excellent breakdown from the Sun Sentinel’s Tony Man about the continued failures of Democrats statewide and the challenges facing the party in another off-year election cycle. A reminder that Democrats have lost 13 of the last 14 races for Governor and Cabinet, a record worse than any other state east of the Mississippi in the same time period.

We received this link from Ray Hudkins our Lead Spokesperson in Pensacola. It raises a very good question?

We might like to suggest that if the DEMOCRATS were to support our Open Primary system in Florida as we at Florida Independent Voting.Org are proposing in our Top Two Open Primary Intitiative #12-03 for the 2014 Ballot – GEE maybe 2.8 million (26%)disenfranchised Independent and No Party Affilaition voters may boost the numbers at election time. Seems we recall Charlie Crist supports Open Primaries!

Just a novel idea isn’t it ! Spread the word!

We thank Anthony Mann aman@tribune.com or 954-356-4550 for this great article!

Maybe if the party leaders looked around the state for people who ran and worked winning campaigns and not just hire their friends, we may win some of these elections.
