Some personal news and how it impacts The Florida Squeeze

Today I announced that before the end of the month I will be leaving my current employer the North American Soccer League for whom I have worked as the Director of Communications since its inception. The league, which is the second highest professional league in North America has two teams in Florida, the Tampa Bay Rowdies and Fort Lauderdale Strikers, is currently on strong footing and while I regret leaving the organization after helping steer it through a phase of development and expansion, I am excited that several new opportunities await. I have already agreed to join the prominent soccer media group EPL Talk as indicated in this article, and will look to pick up more freelance work in the future.

How this impacts the Florida Squeeze is simple. I will have more time to help grow this site including more regular articles during the day reacting more quickly to news, but also some cool new features and regular “appointment viewing” we will roll out over the course of the summer.

Thanks for your continued support and patronage of The Florida Squeeze.

    Sad to hear this.

You did a tremendous job elevating the profile of NASL and the Rowdies.

    All the best.
