Governor Scott did the right thing yesterday when he vetoed the male chauvinistic, anti-women and anti-family Alimony legislation which had passed both houses with bi-partisan support. One can only speculate as to the motivation of legislators to pass such a horrible piece of legislation but that speculation can be left to others. The bottom line is that Governor Scott showed true leadership on this issue, the leadership he seems reluctant to exercise on Health Care and other matters.
