In-person early voting opened in Florida on Monday and it took just ten hours for the GOP to overturn the Democrats turnout advantage statewide.
For comparison, this did not happen until election day itself in 2020 and the Thursday of the first week of early voting in 2022.






Up here at least, it seems like the GOP has learned from 2020 and is at least “okay” with early voting. The GOP senate candidate was on the local news last night delivering a word salad that basically said he didn’t much mind it (this was as he was walking in to cast his own ballot).

Interesting , because the numbers we are seeing in terms of GOP turnout in early voting not just in Florida but around the country is extraordinary compared to previous cycles
