On Conservatism:
Nov. 2009:

I don’t know what else you’re supposed to be, except maybe angry too.” (St. Petersburg Times, 11/24/2009)
August 2009:
Crist: “As a Lifelong Republican, I Believe That Government’s Role Must Be Limited.” In an Aug. 20, 2009 email lambasting President Obama and Speaker Pelosi, Crist wrote, “As a lifelong Republican, I believe that government’s role must be limited, so as Governor, I fight for the principles which our Party has long stood upon – less government, less taxes and more freedom.” (St. Petersburg Times 8/20/2009)
On Offshore Drilling Flip Flop:
June 2008: Crist, Seeking GOP VP Slot Supports Off Shore Drilling With McCain. On June 18, 2008, the Tampa Tribune reported, “Crist has abandoned his staunch opposition to offshore oil and gas drilling, saying Tuesday that he supports Sen. John McCain’s plan to lift the federal moratorium and will weigh the possibility of drilling off Florida’s coastline.” (Tampa Tribune, 6/18/2008)

Crist Voted for Teacher Tenure Bill to Shorten Time School Districts Needed to Fire Tenured Teachers. in 1997. Crist voted in favor of the amended version of a bill that made it easier to fire tenured teachers. Really not interested in hearing what Charlie said when he was walking the GOP party line, I am interested in what he said as he began to change his views.

I am interested in what Crist said as well as the other candidates during the time they said it….but, I am also interested in what they are saying now and what changed their views on the
issues…..and most importantly if what they say is creditable……

Interesting. You only care about what he says (determined by whomever he’s trying to please at the moment) than what he might actually believe on the issues.
