Poll: Do Charlie Crist’s Sinking Poll Numbers Worry You?

Three different polls have been released this week showing Governor Scott leading Governor Crist by a small margin. Today’s question is whether Governor Crist’s sagging poll numbers should be of concern to Democrats. This poll will close at Noon on Thursday August 21st.

What really concerns me is the FL Democratic Party trying to pick our candidates for us—them and their big donors!! Truly disgusting and o so UNdemocratic!!!

    1. Amen to Barbar’s DeVane’s comment, it is undemocratic and plain sickening.

  3. Nan Rich is the best Democratic Candidate for Governor in 16 years. Unfortunately The FDP hasn’t got a clue.

  4. After the primary reality should sink in……Hopefully we aren’t ready to settle for another
four years of Scott…. .and that Florida is considered to be one of the ten most corrupt
    states in the nation..

  6. I think most people are with Billy. It is just going to be a slug fest as both sides pretend their candidates are not well…..should be privatized…..in a prison.

  7. Charlie Crist’s lead strategist Steven Schale caught supporting Republican for State House! Makes you wonder about Crist’s loyalties…

    1. Trust me, Crist is not backing any member of the Latvala family for office. That’s a local matter and Jack Latvala has been about as nasty (and hypocritical) in his attacks on Crist as any Republican. As for Schale, that’s his business. Judge him on it not Crist. It has nothing to do with Crist IMO.

  8. Well, keep all this negative jabber up, and we WILL get 4 more years of the unthinkable (Scott)! There is no way to go here but to get behind the nominee apparent! For the sake of Florida and Floridians, stop the partisan parsing!

I am very pleased that Adrian Wyllie will be a part of the debate. Floridians deserve to hear from all the candidates to be well informed. Adrian Wyllie deserves my vote and yours too. He is a honest average Floridian just as you and I , that is willing to stand up and do something for the interest of all of us here in Florida. The other candidates both Republican and Democrat are owned and controlled by special interest, like puppets and will lie to your face to gain your vote, then continue the same old agenda that we complain about year after year. Time to get off this merry-go-round, election after election, thinking it will be any different. Take a stand, vote for the candidate that loves this state and is willing to take time out of his life, effort and money to SERVE the people of Florida and stop voting for these ‘paid for’ career politicians that are only out for money and fame and have zero interest in us Floridians. Even if it’s just for honesty alone, vote for Adrian Wyllie instead of the other two (Scott/Crist) which are proven liars. The choice is yours and yours alone, if you want the same old corruption and slap in the face, go ahead and vote for one of the two puppets (Scott/Crist) OR do what is right for our (yours and your children’s) future and vote for Adrian Wyllie. Support him by donating to his campaign, spreading the word and contribute to the super brochure program which I think is very powerful. Visit his website today.

I wouldn’t say that Charlie’s numbers are “sagging” … this race remains where it has been all year, neck and neck. I believe it will remain that way until November. Charlie will get a bounce next week, but am not expecting a huge surge.

    1. Thinking alike again! I am working on a piece about this very thought. Charlie’s numbers dropped but now I think the race is static and will be a turnout war.

  11. Crist has ignored those of us who are lifelong Democrats. He’s not getting our votes. He might have had he been respectful to the only real Democrat in the race–NAN RICH==, but he wasn’t so we won’t.

I’m pretty sure I’ve been a Democrat longer than you have, and he IS getting my vote, so speak for yourself only please. And neither you, nor Josie Kraps, gets to define who is a “real” Democrat. Oh, and Nan who?

  12. I’m an Independent who will be voting for Nan Rich this week. I know I’m losing the battle but if it comes down to voting for Crist in Nov., then I will do so, with great reluctance. I do not want to see Scott re-elected ! As regard Palm Coast local elections, those of course, will go to the Republicans. Democrats don’t feel mid-term elections are important, but Republicans do, and this is the Democrats’ Achilles Heel. Too bad we lost democracy !
