I think it is critical that those supporting democracy in the Arab World and rebels in Syria understand fully that Islamist Governments create a very difficult environment for Christians to survive. That’s why the vast majority of Christians in Iraq supported Saddam Hussein and almost all in Syria support Assad. They were big supporters of Mubarak in Egypt as well.

The United States should NEVER aid movements that persecute religious minorities in my opinion.
